Friday Films: Wanna Go For A Walk?

Today on Friday Films I was going to feature a tutorial video by trainer Robert Dollwet on how to clip your cat’s nails, but I stumbled on his video below and thought it would be more fun. Wouldn’t it be great to have this kind of relationship with a cat?

purrr Robert Dollwet has been a professional animal trainer for over 33 years. Originally from southern California, he relocated to the Gold Coast of Australia in January 2009.  Although he primarily trains dogs, he also trains cats and admits he has gotten a lot more response on YouTube from his cat videos.  He explains, “I’m a Cat Man Too and have a few viral cat videos. Check out my YouTube channels Cat Man Too and Malibu Dog Training.”

Dollwet cautions, “Please, do not try "at home" many of the things you see in this video-I am a professional animal trainer. If you want to learn how to teach your animals, watch my tutorials. Thanks for the "likes", sharing, comments and for subscribing. Wanna go for a walk? was published on Nov 8, 2012. You can find Dollwet on Facebook too.

  1. He has more videos on You Tube, and I think one of them is how to teach your cat to sit. You’ll have to give it a try!

  2. That was so awesome.  I was amazed when the cat came when called, but when the cat sat on command I almost choked.  I would totally love to have a cat that was that well trained.  Lynda
