Your “Like” Will Help a Veteran Get a Service Dog

According to Life with Dogs, from Memorial Day to Independence Day (July 4th), Dog Bless You will be donating up to 76 companion & service dogs to war veterans who need them. For every 1,000 new “likes” the Dog Bless You Facebook fan page receives, a companion or service dog will be donated to a war veteran.

1776 is the birth year of our nation’s independence. In the Spirit of ’76, let’s help our injured veterans gain the unparalleled freedom that comes with obtaining a service dog. Here’s how you can help:

  1. Share this link on your timeline:
  2. Ask your friends and family to “like” Dog Bless You

Every new “like” brings a veteran one step closer to a life-altering companion. Please share this story and help make a difference in a vet’s life.

  1. Hey LAPCATS, Jet here.

For sure… Mom says we help her wellness immensely, and she did pet therapy at the childrens hospital for 4.5 years, so, we can only imagine the veterans with animals. 🙂

May this award be your first of MANY for all the good you do.

  2. Thanks Jet, it seems like such a great cause, and a win-win for both the veteran and the chosen companion. And thank you for the kind words and the Sunshine Award – it’s our first.
