Promoting adoption, spay/neuter, and forever homes

Friday Films: Henri, Paw de Deux, and More’s Friday Film won the “Golden Kitty Award” or “Best Cat Video on the Internet” at the first-ever Internet Cat Video Film Festival in Minneapolis on August 30, 2012.

Henri, Paw de Deux, by Seattle filmmaker Will Braden, features Henri, a French cat, describing his existential angst and “the tedious, housebound existence of his everyday life.”  The film won the Golden Kitty through online voting.  Festival curator Katie Hill said the event received more than 10,000 cat video nominations, which were whittled down to a selection of 70 for the screening.

Henri, Le Chat Noir has his own website and Facebook page, where Braden recently posted a photo of himself celebrating victory with his "Golden Kitty Award."

Here is the entire Le Chat Noir series.  Paw de Duex is this year’s award winner.
