Promoting adoption, spay/neuter, and forever homes

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

Snickers is only one of a number of sweethearts waiting for their special valentines at Sacramento County Animal CarePlease stop in for a visit today!

Have you ever thought about volunteering with the animals?  The next new Volunteer Orientation will be held this Saturday, February 16 from 11am-1pm in the classroom. County is especially in need of additional dog-walkers and cat socialization volunteers who are serious about volunteering and can commit to a weekly schedule.

The next Foster Class is set for Sunday, February 17, from 1-3pm in the classroom. Accordingly to Punxsutawney Phil, it’s going to be an early spring, and you all know what that means–an early kitten season.  Please spread word that County is always in need of foster providers for dogs, cats and rabbits to help save animal lives!  More information on volunteering and fostering is on Sacramento County Animal Care’s website.
