Some say cats only show what you think is love in order to get food.
Watch and decide for yourself.

Today’s Friday Film is a great compilation of “cat in boxes” and other enclosures found in cat videos on the internet. (If you view many cat videos, you should recognize many cat faces and some of their antics.) The video really features the silliness of cats and some of the interesting spaces they discover. It’s a new video, so hopefully it’s new to you too.
Many thanks to Brittany for suggesting it!
What can be said about a lovely young black cat named Fum and his great friend, a young barn owl named Gebra, in Tarragona, Spain?
Thanks to Dawn for sharing this video:
And How They Met…
And, unfortunately a sad postscript, from their website Fum and Gebra:
Cat Angel in Heaven
May 4, 2013 Fum passed away. Veterinarians could not save him from a renal obstruction (feline urologic syndrome – FUS). Fum deeply enjoyed in the country during his three years of life (should equal to 28 years for humans)
This page has been, since its beginning, a place of joy and will go on being so. Most of us, followers, have understood the love and friendship example that Fum and Gebra have been giving us.
Their message is our most rich legacy. They have been able to show us, humans, that love and friendship are the most valuable treasures we can get. Fum and Gebra told this story their way, as if they were telling a tale.
Our loved ones go away, we know that every life has its beginning and its end, but also it’s true that real essences are immortals. All those who face their lives with courage and bravery are deeply wishing their light will survive. Fum and Gebra’s example has been so touching for our souls that will remain in our hearts forever.
Though somebody thought that Fum could have injured Gebra, he was always most respectful with her. We feel he loved her. Now Gebra will fly higher and higher to reach with her feathers’ caresses his friend Fum, who is in heaven.
We thank you all for your support and fondness in these difficult moments. Hope you will understand we’ll keep silence during some time. Fum fully reached his goal, he taught us a most important lesson, maybe it was the time for him to die.
Some day we will return, together, to the valley of the flowery almond trees.
Silly? Yes. But fun? I think so. Happy Friday and Have a GREAT Weekend!
With thanks to Dr. Marty Becker on Facebook for sharing!
Guilt is a horrible thing. Our cats get sick and usually we have to administer medicine of some kind to keep them well. We know it’s for their own good. But when we have to restrain them or trick them to get the medicine in them, we feel so bad. And, of course, they are unhappy with us.
Today’s Friday Film deals with a guilty cat owner. When Rufus, an orange tabby, had to undergo a series of painful eardrops, his owner Billy Browne felt awful. And, to make matters worse, Rufus had even taken to hiding from Browne when he came home from work each night.
So the remorseful Browne decided he would make it up to his favorite feline….by building him the ultimate cardboard box cat playhouse! “Rufus loves boxes,” Browne explains.
In the video below, Browne sets out on his mission to win back Rufus’ love and affection, complete with 40 boxes, some tape and a box knife. He films the entire “making of the Rufus tower,” much to the delight of cat owners across the world. I think Rufus forgave him—don’t you?
A cats gotta do what a cats gotta do!
We all have our bad days when no one seems to understand us or life doesn’t seem to be going our way. Pity this poor feline who just can not understand “the authorities” or life in general, and seems to be on the verge of giving up hope.
Life can be difficult for the pampered.
Summertime is almost here, and it’s time to firm up those muscles, get flexible, and get in shape for those shorts, tank tops and swim suits! Here to guide you are Shorty and Kodi and their dad, in their 3rd yoga cat video.
Sho Ko Shorty and Kodi are both former shelter cats.
We featured Shorty the Yoga Cat on our Friday Films back on April 1, 2011. Since then, they’ve developed a second yoga video too. All three videos are included here for your viewing. (Yoga with Cats was just released on May 8, 2013.)
It’s Friday Films day again and time to feature the newest video from Simon Tolliver. Simon’s kitties are mischievous again and getting into more trouble. I suggest you check your television to be sure this doesn’t happen to you!
